Bible Verses On Water:
Biblical Views on Water
As water reflects the face,
so one’s life reflects the heart.
Proverbs 27:19
You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.
Psalm 63:1
Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you.
Exodus 23:25
And this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 3:21
But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in him.
They will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes;
its leaves are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit.
Jeremiah 17:7-8
What I love about these verses is how they show how many different levels water holds and just how many powers it gives to life. We need water for everything. The beauty of water is embedded within us more profound than we can see. Water allows us to relate to the Gods and see ourselves. Water is a natural mirror; it gives life and clinches thirst. Being near water is being close to oneself as well as God.
